I think that my taste buds that once liked food are officially leaving the building. I mean, yeah, I ate every once in awhile over the summer, but slowly the food just started tasting worse and worse. And then I get here, shove food into my mouth like usual while at Hogwarts - and it tasted like dust or something. Made me feel pretty miserable, you know. Not eating for the longest time so that when I got to Hogwarts I would actually feel the need to eat and enjoy it at the same time... and it tastes like I was eating a moth or something? C'MON.
At least the classes aren't disappointing. I'm personally pretty thrilled about Professor Lupin taking over Transfigurations entirely. As much as I love McGonagall, she really could use a break from all of the noise us freaks make. And Lupin is brilliant, not to mention. Too bad we bothered him so badly last year with our little... idea. Totally pushed him in the wrong direction with it. Ah well, can't have everything I suppose.
It feels good to be back here though, that's for sure. The internship at Mungo's was fun while it lasted, but I'm not so sure I want to take the Healer route. Not if I can do something with drawing. It's a little trickier getting into the cartoonist field than training to become a Healer though, I think. I have so many ideas for characters that it's pretty crazy. Another good thing about Professor Lupin - he didn't mind so much when my essays were covered in drawings. McGonagall always got on my case about that. Just some entertainment for your poor essay-reading-mind, Professor! Courtesy of Gabe Warrington.
Well, I'm off. Have Transfigurations first thing this morning. See my fellow N.E.W.T.lies there.
